Random Thoughts...

First of all I'd like to thank The Ranter for inviting me to contribute to this blog. It's a cool thing that I never really thought about before (collaborating).

So this day should be noted as it's finally raining here in Oklahoma for the first time in probably two months. We've had a couple spotty rain showers but it always missed my house (yard) and evaporates in seconds. I'm tired of watering my yard and don't want to see my next water bill.

Also today, the Reds are six games in first place over the hated Cardinals who are losing to the (less hated) Astros right now. The Reds are currently beating the Brewers by one run which means we've survived Harang's first start since the D.L. I'm not sure how this is going to play out and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cards sweep the Reds again coming up. The Brewers still scare me as I'm a Reds fan and I know that the Brewers like to beat up on the Reds no matter what their record has been against them this year. I'm not sure if six games is enough.
